Offer Description

Post-doctoral scholarship opportunity from FAPESP, the São Paulo Research Foundation, for Ph.D. holders in Chemistry interested in joining the Electroanalytical Group of Araraquara – GEAr, under the supervision of Prof. Maria Valnice Boldrin from the São Paulo State University's Institute of Chemistry in Araraquara (IQAr-UNESP), Brazil. The selected candidate will develop a project in the research area of membrane modification for effluent treatment through photocatalysis.

Candidates should have experience in the development of filtration/photocatalysis systems for effluent treatment, synthesis of inorganic membranes modified by semiconductors, characterization techniques for membranes and semiconductor materials, chromatography techniques, and experience with Arduino prototyping.

The scholarship has a monthly stipend of BRL 9,047.40 and a Technical Reserve of 10% of the annual scholarship value to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to research activities, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The scholarship is valid for one year, renewable for an additional year depending on the candidate's performance.
