Offer Description

A post-doctoral scholarship funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) is available within the project “Extracellular matrix: from biology to strategies for controlling cariogenic biofilms ”, under Dr. Marlise I. Klein Furlan supervision. The scholarship is a research grant budget item. The fellow will carry out studies at the State University of Campinas's Piracicaba Dentistry School (FOP-UNICAMP), in Brazil, to develop one of the umbrella project's goals.

Applicants must be graduated in Dentistry and have a Graduate School degree in related areas. The selected candidate will have experience in microbiology research tools, molecular biology (gene expression, sequencing), biochemistry and special microscopy techniques.

The fellowship will begin in July 2024.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
