Offer Description

Fellows are selected to work on research in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in a project by the Center for Studies in Analytics and Security Policies (FGV Analytics).

FGV Analytics is a center based at FGV-EAESP, the result of the FAPESP Science for Development Program initiative.

Mandatory requirements:

a) Candidates must have completed their doctorate less than seven years before the start of the scholarship;

b) The scholarship requires full-time dedication to the research project (except under the conditions set out in PR resolution No. 13/2009, of July 15, 2009: https://fapesp.br/index.php/5268/portaria-pr-no-132009 );

c) The scholarship holder will not be able to exercise any formal or informal employment relationship nor receive, during the validity of the scholarship, a scholarship from another entity, salary or remuneration resulting from the exercise of activities of any nature (except under the conditions set out in decree PR nº 13/2009 , July 15, 2009: https://fapesp.br/index.php/5268/portaria-pr-no-132009 ).

Vacancies are open to Brazilians and foreigners. Each selected person will receive a FAPESP Postdoctoral Scholarship, which includes a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
