We are now looking for a
SPECIALIST to develop and coordinate our international student exchange activities

As a specialist in international exchange services, you are part of an expert team of 15 persons responsible for developing and coordinating the university's mobility services. One of the university's strategic objectives is internationalisation, and you will give concrete support to this objective in your work.

Your versatile task field includes, for example,
- the implementation, development and coordination of international exchange programmes for students and staff
- measures to support student national mobility, including JOO studies
- coordination of cooperation with partner universities
- the development and provision of online and other services for students
- individual and group-based guidance and advice for students, teachers, researchers and other university expert personnel.
In addition to these tasks, you are active in different international and national cooperation networks where you share good practices and get ideas for developing work.

About you
You have accumulated work experience in international cooperation in education and training, and you are interested in the benefits of internationalisation from the viewpoint of both the individual and the organisation. You are customer-friendly, natural networked and work with a consultative and collaborative working extract. You can prioritise your tasks under a hurry, organise your work, and ask for and provide assistance.

Close cooperation with colleagues, faculties and educational programme representatives and exchange cooperation universities is built on your positive and constructive interaction. Your educational background is a higher university degree that supports your task. In our international working environment, you need not only Finnish but also fluent English skills. Your advantage is, if you have other language skills, knowledge of Erasmus and readiness to attend student events.

The Unit for International exchange services and education cooperation acts as part of a unit of teaching and student services and coordinates the implementation and development of student, teacher, researcher and staff mobility as well as related services. The unit also supports the development, coordination and management of international education cooperation projects and assists training programmes in applying for funding for these projects. The unit also coordinates and develops the centralised services and tuition fees of international degree students. The specialists work as experts, coordinators, partners and grant administrators in the internationalisation of training programmes and international exchange. In addition, the unit develops, maintains and directs mobility information management and the Mobility Online IT- system. Advice is provided on exchange opportunities, application, exchange grants and tuition fees.
