YOUR TASKS

  • In the framework of several ongoing scientific research projects, you will perform high-level experimental and theoretical research regarding rheology of cementitious materials and alkali activated materials, in view of workability improvement, active rheology control and 3D printing.
  • You will be member of a research team working on these projects, and you will coordinate your research activities with the activities of the other researchers.
  • As postdoc, you will also have a supervising role for some of the research activities.
  • You will also contribute to other activities including teaching and services.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a thesis-based doctorate in Civil Engineering.
  • You obtained your doctoral degree in civil engineering.
  • Your doctoral research included rheology of cementitious materials.
  • You have at least 10 years of postdoctoral experience, performing research in the field of rheology of cementitious materials and alkali activated materials.
  • You have expertise regarding rheology of cementitious materials and alkali-activated materials, as shown also by high-level peer reviewed journal publications on these topics.
  • More specifically, you have research experience regarding active rheology control of cementitious materials, with recent publications in this domain.
  • You take responsibility for the development of your project in a well-structured, thorough way, and you are able to solve problems independently.
  • You display creativity in solving problems, generating ideas or finding new ways of working.
  • You have an open personality and you are willing to contribute to the team.
  • You have excellent didactic and communication skills in English, both orally and written.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period from 01/01/2022-31/12/2022 (12 months).
  • Your contract will start on 1/01/2022 .
