OFFER DESCRIPTION

• Conducting doctoral research, completing the programme and obtaining a PhD in the domain of Human Rights Law
• Assistance with scientific research (project applications, organisation of conferences, research,...)
• Assistance with educational activities such as supervising master theses and support with (the improvement of) exams.

Benefits

 A position of 100% as Assistant for 2 year (renewable up to 6 years).

This function is linked to salary scale 43.

Eligibility criteria

•     The candidate has at least a Master of Law degree (or equivalent). Additional foreign degrees are recommended. The candidate obtained good study results. Of course, a special interest in Human Rights Law in general is required.
•     The candidate is fluent multilingual. A good oral and written command of Dutch and English is a minimum.
•     You have skills to critically analyse theoretical texts and empirical studies. You have a fluent writing style.
•     You are able to work independently, but also good in a team and show sufficient initiative.
•     You are able to successfully complete a doctoral research project under supervision.
