Post-doctoral researcher Experimental Vaccinology (Virology and Immunology)

       You have a PhD in immunology, virology or related fields, with a focus on adaptive immune responses and host-pathogen interactions;

       You are passionate about science, curious, dedicated, self-motivated and naturally take ownership of your assignment, proactively proposing solutions to any issues that may arise;

       You have deep hands-on experience in animal experimentation (certificate FELASA B and C, or comparable);

       You have experience with cell-based immunological assays (e.g. multi-color flow cytometry, ELISpot,primary cell culture);

       You design and plan your (in vitro and in vivo) experiments independently and execute with precision and speed while working according to all safety regulations and protocols;

       You can analyse data in a critical manner and report data in a comprehensive way. You ensure detailed recording of experimental data;

       You can work together with technicians and are able to supervise research projects of Master and PhD students;

       You work easily in a multicultural and multilingual environment;you contribute to an open, stimulating and pleasant work environment, and actively participate in scientific discussions;

       You have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience in publishing your results in peer-reviewed journals up to highest standards.
