Offer Description

RESEARCH:You are an ambitious, internationally oriented and qualitative researcher with expertise related to the research spearheads of the Department Work and Organisation Studies (i.e. Corporate Social Responsibility, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, Quality of Labour, Careers, Employability, and/or Organisation Studies). A focus on alternative/hybrid organizations and/or governance is a plus. You develop your own research line and publish in international top journals within the field. You have an outspoken interest in fundamental scientific research and also perceive opportunities for valorization of research findings and applied research.
TEACHING:You are responsible for the development and finalization of a MOOC on cooperative enterprises and sustainability and you guide master students for their thesis. Also involvement in the doctoral program of WOS and other courses of WOS is an option.

Benefits

A fulltime appointment as doctor-assistant (postdoctoral position) in a stimulating work environment for a period of 4 months.
Starting date is 1/7/2024. Salary in barema 44.
You will have an office at our campus in Leuven. 

Eligibility criteria

• You have a PhD in Business or Economics, or a PhD in a related domain (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Pedagogy) with evidence of expertise in a field of research that touches upon one or more topics that touch upon the research spearheads of the Department Work and Organisation Studies. A focus on alternative/hybrid organizations and/or governance is a plus.
• You have excellent research potential. The quality of your research is demonstrated by your research output (e.g., conference presentations and journal articles).
• You have excellent writing skills and have an analytical and critical mind.
• Your spoken and written English and Dutch are excellent. 
• You are collegial and work in a proactive and autonomous way. You have a passion for scientific research.
• Experience with teaching is preferred.
