Offer Description

We are offering an exciting postdoctoral position at the KU Leuven, within the Biomed lab (https://biomed-kuleuven.web.app/research ), to develop new trustworthy AI algorithms for disease quantification from heterogeneous biomedical data.  Particularly relevant is experience with synthetic biomedical data and/or AI for cancer pathology.

We are developing new trustworthy AI methods for generating synthetic data, evaluating the quality of synthetic data and predictive disease modelling from multi-source biomedical data (including clinical, biological, imaging and time series data). In particular, we are interested in new AI models which can learn from synthetic data and from imperfect data, but once applied in real-world practice, are generalisable across clinical sites and settings, explainable for clinical use, and generating clinical impact.
