About the Role
As the Workforce Planning Senior Coordinator, you will be an integral leader in the Workforce Planning Team, supporting all STEM College human resources functions. You will provide hands-on direction and strategic guidance to their team on HR policies, systems and processes, including remuneration, engagement, talent management, performance and development, while ensuring alignment with all College and University standards. 

You will also drive ongoing process improvements and implement new initiatives to support HR best practices within the college, liaising with other teams where appropriate. You will also be responsible for inculcating a supportive internal team culture and identifying areas for upskilling.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

  • Demonstrated experience providing strategic advice and direction regarding Human Resources processes and systems.

  • Proven organisational, communication and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to drive decision-making by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships.

  • Highly developed computer literacy.

  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, contributing to the achievement of team goals.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading, developing and coaching team members.

About STEM College Office Professional Staff

The STEM College Office Professional staff provide exceptional and efficient support to the College.

The Learning, Teaching and Quality teams support: 

  • Quality Enhancement

  • Learning and Teaching support

The Professional shared services Group delivers service to all four Schools across five distinct functions:

  • Student Lifecycle

  • Planning & Operations

  • Technical Services

  • Program Lifecycle & Governance

  • WIL & Engagement

Relevant digital solutions – such as Workday – are used by the five teams to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies. The Group’s end-to-end professional support ensures a consistent approach to the operational and strategic functioning of the College and adherence to University policies and procedures. 

The STEM College Office professional staff are instrumental in providing students with a transformative and enriched learning experience, and in supporting our research and engagement administration activities. Centralised in the STEM College Office, at our City and Bundoora campuses, professional staff members have opportunities to cross-skill, engage in professional development and develop their own career paths.
