About the Role
As Testing and Quality Assurance (TQA), Lead you will lead testing and quality assurance activities aimed at ensuring that new or changed products and services meet defined requirements and agreed levels of quality.  You will plan and coordinate testing activities and test deliverables for projects and in-scope operational platforms, systems, and applications. 

You will ensure new and established testing standards, processes, practices, guidelines, tools, and templates are understood and are being consistently applied and adhered to, as well as providing input to practice improvements, and the overarching Testing Strategy, Roadmap, and associated implementation plans.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating and coaching the team and lead testing resources to achieve goals by providing clear performance expectations
  • Creating test deliverables that include project specific test strategies, test plans, test cases and test executions to verify acceptance criteria/requirements 
  • Working with project teams to ensure effective development and handover of testing assets for reuse and in support of the production regression-testing suite

Who we are looking for
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates a clear understanding of testing roles, principles, methodologies, and tools, including experience of developing flexible and pragmatic testing approaches to support achievement of delivery milestones.  You will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills ; with proven ability to adapt to multiple stakeholders from varying contexts

You will also have:

  • Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training in Testing
  • Qualifications in IT, Business or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent mix of education
  • Adaptive leadership approach where customer focus is key 
  • Extensive, analytical experience with the ability to lead through a complex landscape
  • Evidence of self-driven, open, learning mindset with strong facilitation skills
