(HEO6) $81,254 to $87,770 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply.

Fixed term, part-time (0.6 FTE) opportunity available for two years.

Digital Enablement comprises a team of staff dedicated to support the technical and administrative requirements of South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).

The Digital Enablement team has a diverse set of responsibilities, including: architecture and development, cyber security and risk, applications and front-end Cloud services, and technical account management of externally sourced support services.

The Test Analyst role, under general direction, collaboratively works with Quality Assurance processes and frameworks assisting SATAC to deliver projects and system related change with minimal negative impact. The role negotiates the effective use of SATAC’s resources in relation to features, functions and quality assurance processes of SATAC’s systems.

The Test Analyst will contribute to testing of systems used within SATAC ensuring this is carried out to a high level of quality. The role will also conduct manual testing, and contribute to creation and maintenance of automation test scripts. The Test Analyst will work with all sections of SATAC to undertake test planning, test case design, test execution and other tasks according to agreed standards.  

To be successful you will need:

  • Understanding of the Higher Education sector within Australia and awareness of the related admissions processes.
  • Detail oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of SANTAS and SATAC business.
  • Strong communication skills in addressing both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relational database understanding with ability to query SQL to verify test results advantageous.

SATAC manages centralised application and admissions processes on behalf of its members and participating fee for service institutions, as well as administering admissions aptitude tests, providing publication and research services, and acting as a one-stop shop for queries regarding application processes and outcomes.
