  • 2x Full-time, fixed term contracts until March 2025
  • Commencement Salary: $76,304 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About You  

You are a highly motivated and proactive Project Officer with demonstrated experience in the design, maintenance and support of learning and teaching software applications and services. You are methodical in your approach to problem solving and seek to understand and respond appropriately, you consider problems and situations from different angles and explores relevant sources to inform resolution.  

About the Role  

Reporting to the Manager Learning Technologies and Projects, you will support  staff use of digital learning software applications managed by the Teaching Innovation Unit, with the learnonline software suite being a primary focus. Developing and maintaining online help resources and delivering training sessions for key projects are an integral part of the role, while providing advice and determining software solutions to teaching and learning initiatives.  

About the Teaching Innovation Unit 

The Teaching Innovation Unit (TIU) provides a range of important services to academic staff of the University. It plays a major role in facilitating the promotion and implementation of institutional teaching and learning priorities across the University. The Unit supports the University’s long-standing commitments to quality education, student-centred learning, and staff development.

Essential Skills and Experience  

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills and experience in online education 
  • Highly developed skills and experience administering and providing support for learning management systems, preferably Moodle 
  • Significant experience in providing project support for the design, maintenance and support of learning and teaching software applications and services 
  • Highly developed skills and experience administering and providing support for computer applications, including but not limited to, portfolios (Mahara),  Zoom, and Video management software (Panopto)
