The Technical team, Electronics and Instrumentation, supports the activities across numerous disciplines of the SET faculty, in areas of general electronics and microcontrollers, instrumentation, data acquisition, robotics and automation, for the delivery of undergraduate teaching, postgraduate education and research including industry partners.

As a Technical Team Leader of the Electronics and Instrumentation team, you will be working under broad direction and be responsible for providing relevant strategic advice to the Faculty Director Technical Services on matters relating to the research and educational offerings delivered by the Faculty. The Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of Technical staff in the delivery of consistent, high-quality, innovative and effective research and teaching Technical Services that support the Faculty business plan objectives. The Team Leader drives efficiencies, interdisciplinary collaboration and communication to build capacity and capability in operational research and teaching support services, programs and initiatives. You will need to have experience in leadership and/or management of complex laboratory/electronics/electrical activities.
