Fixed term contract until December 2025 for a Strategic Projects Coordinator

As part of the Future Students Branch, working under general direction, the Strategic Projects Coordinator is responsible for providing strategic and operational project support during the establishment and delivery of domestic student recruitment initiatives.

This role works with multiple stakeholders to support the delivery of new and existing projects in order to build capacity and provide responsive and customised solutions to meet recruitment needs.

You will be required to provide support to the Director, Domestic Recruitment including background research and competitor analysis.  Preparing and distributing meeting agenda’s and papers, taking minutes and following up on actions.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating the provision of efficient project coordination services and support, preferably in a higher education environment, including providing information, advice and reports.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a high level of flexibility and adaptability in order to undertake or deliver a range of functions, to meet the business needs of an organisation.
  • Experience in organising and undertaking multiple tasks with competing deadlines. Able to apply effective problem- solving skills to a range of issues.
  • Experience in the utilisation of a range of computer-based hardware and software applications, including competency across the full Microsoft office suite of programs.
