About the team
UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.

You will work as part of the architecture team, providing your expertise and experience as architecture services to projects executed by the University IT Portfolio Management Office.

About the opportunity
As a Solution Architect, you'll collaborate closely with the Architecture team to drive essential application and technology changes supporting three critical projects: Peoplesoft Financials Upgrade
GlobalMD Course Creation and UWA Partner Portal.

Your role as a technology domain expert and architecture leader involves developing architectural artifacts, ensuring alignment with project goals, and guiding the implementation process. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining architectural standards and integrating your work with larger team efforts to achieve the University's strategic goals.

About you
To excel in this role, you'll need a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent, current Azure Solution Architect certification, experience in architecture or product ownership—particularly in integration, automation, data management, and cybersecurity. You'll also require extensive technical proficiency with technologies like C#, .NET, Azure, and Peoplesoft/financial systems, along with experience leading change within large organisations. Excellent communication, consultation, negotiation, and organisational skills, as well as proficiency in computing skills and a working knowledge of the Higher Education sector, are essential.
