Overview
The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides a comprehensive range of academic programs to prepare health care professionals for positions in nursing and midwifery.  The School has a commitment to developing strong partnerships locally, nationally, and internationally through its collaboration with health professions, industry, and the broader community in both the teaching and research arenas.

This role is a part of a strong team and requires a candidate to be adaptable to change, who can think on their feet, and is prepared to go the extra mile in excellent service provision.

The Senior School Officer is a key, senior administrative role in the Operations Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager and members of the academic leadership team, while providing focussed administrative support to core school functions.

This role requires a pro-active individual who is a strong team player and has high level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 

The successful candidate will display:

  • High level of professionalism with an ability to interact with all levels of the organisation, and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A self-starter who is happy to work both within a team as well as autonomously.
  • Strong organisational and record keeping skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to work under pressure and contend with competing deadlines.
  • An understanding of university processes and systems is advantageous.
  • A can-do attitude and ability to work collaboratively is essential.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $78,854 to $87,624 PA (HEW 5) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
