About the team
Human Resources (HR) function plays a critical role managing and developing UWA’s academic and professional workforce, organisational capability, and culture to ensure UWA’s success and sustainable growth. The overarching role of HR is to align UWA’s human resources with its strategic objectives, cultivate a positive work environment and ensure UWA staff have access to the necessary support, services, and resources to thrive in their roles.

The People Services (PS) team is accountable for developing and delivering integrated end-to-end remuneration and benefits services to UWA staff to enable the overall UWA strategy. The PS function is also the front-line of the University’s tiered HR service delivery responsible for effective management of Tier 1 HR enquiries and services.

About the opportunity
As the appointee you will, under broad direction, lead and provide comprehensive remuneration and benefits services across UWA. You will lead and develop the capabilities of the People Services team and drive development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures and related resources. As the front-line of tiered HR service delivery, your focus will be on efficiently managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 HR enquiries and services. Your dedication to providing exceptional service will contribute significantly to the success of UWA's HR operations and employee satisfaction. Employee Experience will drive the People Services team.

About you
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources with extensive experience leading and managing front line HR Services teams to deliver customer-centred people and people management services. You will also demonstrate previous capability in developing and delivering remuneration and benefits strategies, initiatives, and services including employee payroll, allowances, and bonuses. Previous experience delivering customer-centred services and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence will be highly regarded.
