Digital Services team provides core information and communication technology (ICT) services and support to the Deakin University community.  In partnership with all areas of the University, it delivers quality and innovative ICT solutions that enable Deakin to achieve teaching, learning and research excellence.

As an Integration Lead, you will work closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts and vendors to implement solutions and make valuable contributions to our enterprise integrations. If you have previous integration experience with Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow and  Peoplesoft HCM along with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, then this could be your next opportunity!

Your key responsibilities will include, and not limited to:

  • Lead the solution analysis, design, development, support and governance of enterprise integrations. 
  • Provide technical direction and advice to peers, working parties and projects to ensure high-quality, timely and successful outcomes.  
  • Provide direction in complex integration scenarios and contribute specialist skills and knowledge to the evaluation and assessment of the ideas, concepts and solutions generated, to help determine value and priority. 
  • Where applicable, undertake staff management and staff development and support duties in accordance with Deakin’s HR policies, processes and timeframes. 

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Tertiary Degree in a computer related discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Significant Integration experience and demonstrated expertise across multiple platforms, with a strong record of leading and completing projects.
  • Significant professional experience in complex integration environment.
  • Significant experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in large enterprise environment, working with and/or leading technical teams.
  • Strong experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform development and support. Experience with DevOps practices such as code versioning, packaging, test driven development (TDD), continuous integration, test automation, code analysis, and code quality metrics.
  • Experience in the higher education sector, including working with academic staff would be an advantage.
  • Experience integrating with any of our core applications  and platforms: Callista Student Management System, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft HCM would be highly desirable.
