About the Role

Reporting to the Team Leader: Industry Experience, you will provide high-level operational and project support within the team to increase awareness of, and engagement in, a wide range of student placements, internships, professional practice and extra-curricular activities that enable positive graduate outcomes for STEM students.

The position has a strong customer service focus and you will proactively liaise with a wide range of stakeholders including students, industry partners, academic staff and professional staff to develop and maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships. You will ensure that work integrated learning activities coordinated within STEM adhere to University policy and procedures, as well as other compliance obligations.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Proven ability to be innovative in generating solutions while ensuring compliance with policies, processes, guidelines, and standards to provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders
  • High level verbal and interpersonal skills and experience in liaising with people at all levels, both internal and external to an organisation
  • High level written communications skills including demonstrated experience in developing communications, resources and online materials for a wide range of audiences
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the use of a variety of data sources to provide advice and recommendation
