  • Commencement Salary: $76,304 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role   

Reporting directly to the Manager Research Project Management, you are responsible for providing high level administrative support and customer service to researchers and stakeholders, both internal and external to the University. 

You are the primary point of contact and will provide advice, resolution and guidance in response to queries associated with research systems. You will facilitate a productive and collaborative approach to the complex environment of funding development at the University, whilst contributing to and promoting a positive culture within UniSA Research Office and the wider University. 

About UniSA Research Office 

UniSA Research Office (URO) supports research management and administers internal and national competitive research grants and projects. It is responsible for ensuring the responsible and ethical conduct of research and for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve the quality of the experience and outcomes for postgraduate research students.

The Research Systems Team provides strategic and operational support to the Director/Deputy Director URO, continuous improvement of systems and processes to support an enterprise-wide approach to the research project lifecycle, business analysis and reporting activities and the coordination and provision of expert advice on the research income component of the HERDC specifications.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail including maintaining data and records on information systems, implementing systems to ensure data accuracy, and proactively ensuring any errors are resolved 
  • Demonstrated organisational skills including experience in meeting deadlines, prioritising competing demands and using initiative
  • Demonstrated high level, conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly triage and either address or escalate stakeholder enquiries as appropriate
