We have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate 

Research Fellow

to join our high-performing team led by Associate Professor Zoe Bradfield in the

Curtin School of Nursing

.

In this role, you will work on a variety of established and emerging projects to fulfil the objectives of the Perron Foundation Grant. The program of work is highly innovative and adopts a range of approaches, leading research that is already improving the health outcomes of women, children and families.

Selection Criteria

  • A doctoral qualification in relevant discipline (for example Public Health, Midwifery, Psychology);
  • Demonstrated relevant discipline knowledge and experience in conducting high-quality research including grant writing, protocol development, ethics applications, stakeholder consultation, project management, qualitative and quantitative data analysis and reporting;
  • Evidence of a record of research outputs in high-quality refereed journals;
  • Evidence of innovative communication strategies and mediums to reach a variety of key stakeholders and target audiences;
  • Evidence of High-level organisational skills with demonstrated proficiency in project management to meet established goals;
  • Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders including industry executives, study participants, students and staff with cross cultural sensitivity and respect;
  • Demonstrated commitment to applying relevant and applicable policies, procedures and legislation in the day-to-day performance of the functions of this position.
    • Desirable
    • Demonstrated experience in quantitative data analysis with high-level competence in using statistical analysis software.
    • Demonstrated experience or desire to participate in supervision of HDR students.
    • A history of successful competitive grant applications.
