  • Part-time (0.5 FTE), fixed term contract 03/06/2024 – 28/02/2025, based in Allied Health & Human Performance at the City West campus
  • Salary: $96,929 - $103,780 (pro rata) per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role 

Reporting to the Senior Research Fellow, you will contribute to the research efforts of The Cancer Epidemiology and Population Health Research Group, particularly in relation to the project entitled ‘Barriers and facilitators to help seeking around sexual function: developing pathways to help men after prostate cancer treatment’.

The UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance Academic Unit offers a wide range of degrees and conducts research in the fields of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, medical radiation sciences, medical sonography, speech pathology, clinical exercise physiology, exercise and nutrition, health sciences, public health, exercise and sport science, and human movement.

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Undergraduate qualifications with honours in a relevant field, e.g., epidemiology, health behaviour/psychology, clinical or population health, mixed method research
  • Knowledge and understanding of principles and concepts related to health outcomes research
  • Sound quantitative analysis skills using Stata or other relevant statistical software 
  • A developing record of research achievement as demonstrated by publications, conference papers and other research activities, commensurate with opportunity 
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information effectively and clearly to a wide audience and a variety of stakeholders (e.g. conference presentations), including writing for publication
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse and multi-disciplinary research team as well as work independently
