About the Role
The School of Social Sciences is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in Social Sciences.

The Associate Professor in Social Sciences will be responsible for contributing substantively to the leadership of teaching, research and engagement activities as a member of the School of Social Sciences and a member of the Professoriate. The position holder will have responsibility for providing leadership to enhance the School’s research profile and expand research impact in academia, industry and community.  The position will also play a key leadership role in providing mentoring advice to early and mid-career academics to enrich research output and career aspirations.

Skills/Experience
The successful candidate must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Person, and hold a current NSW Employee Working with Children Check clearance, have a PhD in a Social Sciences discipline or a related discipline and have an esteemed research profile demonstrated by substantive research funding acquisition, scholarly publications in high-quality journals.

The position will be based at the Liverpool City Campus with the expectation of travel to other campuses where required.
