About the Role
The Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Research Administration Coordinator.

The Senior Research Administration Coordinator takes the lead for managing, and caring for, a small team of professional subject matter experts within the Institute. The role also supports the Institute Manager to deliver on the financial, resourcing, and strategic imperatives of the Institute. In addition, the role delivers executive/secretarial support, and specific administrative/governance tasks across the portfolio. The Senior Research Administration Coordinator will work closely and in collaboration with the remaining administration team in the Institute, providing both expert advice to, and receiving additional skills mentoring from, the rest of the team. About you
To be successful in this exciting new role, you will require the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant qualification and/or equivalent administrative experience.
  • Expertise in finance, HDR students, industry engagement, or communications in a research setting.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management proficiency, including prioritisation and deadline adherence.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Westerns Hawkesbury Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $117,645 to $126,892 p.a. (comprising Salary of $99,411 to $107,225 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
