About the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment
The Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment is a research institute within Western Sydney University. The Institute conducts fundamental and applied research in ecology, physiology, genetics and global change biology. About the Role
Step into the role of Institute Manager, the senior non-academic leader overseeing a wide array of administrative processes. Your responsibilities include managing finances, human resources, compliance, facilities, policies, processes, and corporate relations. Work collaboratively with our skilled administration team, sharing your expertise and gaining valuable skills mentoring. This is a full-time, ongoing position to commence 16 March 2024.

About you
To be successful in this exciting new role, you will require the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent professional administrative training and experience.
  • Effective management of substantial budgets, including financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • High-level analytical, evaluative, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong human resource management skills.
  • High-level oral interpersonal and written communication skills.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 9 $151,302 to $161,579 p.a. (comprising Salary of $127,852 to $136,536 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
