About the Role
The School of Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed individual to join their team as a Lecturer in Social Sciences. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the academic landscape by contributing significantly to teaching, curriculum development, quality improvements, research, and postgraduate program development within the School.

The successful applicant will provide guidance, mentorship and supervision to master’s and higher degree research students. Further the Lecturer will be expected to aid in the teaching and development of students to ensure they are skilled to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities in a range of settings and capacities while also contributing to the leadership and sustainability of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Liverpool City Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

Skills/Experience
The successful candidate must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Person, hold a tertiary qualification (minimum Master's) in social science or similar discipline field and have demonstrated experience in quality teaching at tertiary level.

Remuneration Package:  Academic Level B $135,528 to $159,922 p.a. (comprising Salary of $114,523 to $135,230 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
