About the Role
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking a forward thinking, dynamic and innovative scholar to take on an academic role within the Midwifery discipline at Lecturer level.

The appointee will require current and relevant experience as a Registered Midwife and possess a demonstrated commitment to midwifery education. The School currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate preregistration programs in midwifery and the successful appointee will play a major role in teaching within these programs

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
You must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Midwife in Australia and have expertise and experience in midwifery education in university-based programs.

You will have outstanding skills and qualities in research and education delivery with a focus on quality teaching, curriculum development and student engagement, playing a major role in teaching within the undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programs.

You must have recently completed a PhD qualification or be in advanced stage of completion of a PhD in Midwifery or a related area, as well as relevant experience.

The successful applicant will be based on the Parramatta campus, but to fulfil the role they may be required to travel to other campuses of the university.
 
Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $135,528 to $159,922 p.a. (comprising Salary of $114,523 to $135,230 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
