About the role:

As the Professional Practice Educator, you'll provide high-quality professional education and supervision to Exercise Physiology and Exercise Science students delivering evidence-based care to clients attending ACU's Exercise Lifestyle Clinic (Brisbane), ensuring evidence-based care and optimal student learning outcomes.The incumbent will organise the service requirements for an Exercise Physiology caseload, supervise students as they undertake their professional practice placement and maintain a clinical caseload during non-student periods as required.

You will also develop new student-led programs to increase professional practice placement opportunities for students and foster student involvement in clinical projects and participate in teaching and research activities, while ensuring adherance to policies and procedures that ensure infection control, safe practice (WH&S) and maintenance of clinical records of clients as required by ACU Health Clinics' protocols and relevant legislation.

  • Total remuneration valued to $92,150 - $124,604 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $77,868 - $105,292 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level A), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
