CSIRO is collaborating with SKAO in the construction and operation phases of the SKA-Low Telescope here in Western Australia. The CSIRO Assembly, Integration and Verification (AIV) Team in Perth is growing and are now seeking a Network and Computing Technician to join the team based in the Kensington office.

As a Network and Computing Technician, you will support all AIV related installation, connection, testing and verification activities for the SKA-Low Telescope computing and network infrastructure in Perth and at the Site. The role will be based at the SKAO Science Operations Centre in Perth, and will involve some travel to Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, the CSIRO Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory on Wajarri Yamaji Country, the SKAO Engineering Operation Centre in Geraldton and occasionally other SKAO facilities.

The position will initially sit within the AIV Team to support integration and verification during construction but then transition to operations support within the SKA-Low Telescope team.
