Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:

• An Australian citizen
• A New Zealand citizen
• Australian permanent resident
• Australian humanitarian visa holder
• An International student

You must be studying as one of the following:

You must be a current graduate research student studying at one of the following Monash faculties or centres:

• Art, Design, and Architecture
• Arts
• Business and Economics
• Education
• Engineering
• Information Technology
• Law
• Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences
• Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Science
• Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC)
• Monash Sustainability Development Institute (MDSI)

You must meet the following criteria:

• A current, full-time graduate research student, enrolled at a Monash campus in Australia; and
• have been a prior resident with Monash Residential Services in the previous year for at least six months; and
• be a current resident with Monash Residential Services

This scholarship is also available to students undertaking Joint Research Awards when Monash University is the home institution.

Benefits

$1680 paid monthly as $168 rental rebates over 10 months (February to November).

Selection criteria

• Selection is based on your academic and/or research record to date, including any publications.
• Normally only one award will be made to any single faculty/centre.

To retain this scholarship:

• Must remain in residency with Monash Residential Services,
• Must maintain a full-time enrolment and continue research at Monash University,
• Recipients must remain in residency with Monash Residential Services and not be in breach of any current Monash Residential Services Conditions of Residency
