About the Role 

The Global Engagement team at Swinburne University of Technology are looking for a Mobility Advisor to join their team. 

The Mobility Advisor will primarily be responsible for Swinburne’s overseas internships program placing Swinburne students in overseas internships with various organisations. This role involves dealing with the sourcing and coordinating overseas internships and providing specialist advice on overseas internships to Swinburne staff and students. The Overseas Internship Advisor will facilitate compliance with University and International funding body processes and assist in the implementation and streamlining of all required processes.

The successful applicant will have a significant role to play in providing efficient, timely and accurate processes to meet the operational, quality and compliance requirements of international placements. The position is the key interface with both internal and external stakeholders.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level quality administrative and support services within a demanding, client focused environment
  • Knowledge of and experience in the International Education sector
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and responsive to client needs and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to display sensitivity and with strong attention to detail with the ability to follow tasks through to completion

Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree with significant relevant experience and/or education/training
