About You
As the Coordinator, HDR Admissions and Scholarships, you will have direct responsibility for leading the administration of Higher Degrees by Research admissions and scholarships. With the support of the admissions and scholarships team, you will be responsible for managing all administrative functions relating to prospective student enquiries and applications, managing all centrally allocated HDR scholarships in liaison with finance teams, and contributing to continuous improvement activities. You will also be responsible for relevant regular reporting and audit activities as they relate to admissions and scholarships.
To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum:
Experience in a relevant role within the University sector or similarly complex organisation.
Highly motivated, customer-focused and pro-active with highly developed organisational and time management skills and the ability to handle various and multiple functions simultaneously and under pressure.
Demonstrated experience and ability to lead and support a team and delegate tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to present policy, regulatory advice, or application outcomes to a variety of audiences.
Experience with and commitment to regulatory compliance, quality assurance and continuous service improvement.
Analytical skills to enable reporting against key performance indicators.
