About You


The Manager, Student Recruitment (Non School Leaver) is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drives awareness and applications that contribute to the domestic Non School Leaver recruitment targets, across all levels of study including vocational education, undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director, Student Recruitment (Australia), this role will manage the development and implementation of the domestic Non-School Leaver recruitment strategy, working closely with key areas across Experience and the University Colleges to drive strategies and systems designed to ensure enrolment targets are achieved within budget.

The position is also responsible for providing Non-School Leaver insights to inform strategic direction and innovative student recruitment initiatives.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:

1. Excellent skills and proven experience in student recruitment, marketing and/or communications role with experience in strategy development and implementation.

2. Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, to think strategically and creatively, monitor and evaluate work and event performance, and to meet deadlines in a complex and demanding environment.

3. Demonstrated ability to operate as part of a management team and provide high quality strategic ideas and insights to implement best practice.

4. Experience managing projects and facilitating cross functional working groups.

5. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience in establishing and managing effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders with competing priorities.

6. Demonstrated management ability including skills in leading and motivating staff and fostering a culture of high performance.

7. Proven ability to manage budgets within a large organisation

8. Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and competence to deliver efficiencies and improve business processes. This could include a variety of software packages encompassing CRM’s, eDM and database management.
