Lead a high performing IT Strategy and Planning team at one of Australia’s top universities
The Manager, IT Strategy and Planning will lead a multi-disciplinary team of experienced IT Architect and Planning and Analysts professionals and is responsible for the curation of Information Technology and Digital Solutions (ITDS) plans including the Strategic Plan, Annual Technology Investment Plan and ITDS Operational plan.
As the primary curator of enterprise architecture models and solution architecture design the role will ensure strong alignment between the University of Adelaide Strategy, ITDS Strategy, technology investments and business benefits. The role will also hold responsibility for leading the ideation, definition and approval of technology investments.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience working in a senior level role in architecture and planning domains, in a large and complex organisational environment, including working with governance committees, Executives and senior managers to effect strategic change and collaborative engagement.
- Demonstrated business experience in strategic and operational planning, IT portfolio management, enterprise architecture and business analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, Business Analysis, EA and ITIL frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to apply contemporary strategic management and business practices and methods to lead teams of professional staff in the planning of major, complex and/or multiple IT projects that support organisational goals.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, capable of inspiring others, proficiency in providing high level and fearless advice to senior management, and an ability to apply a consultative and collaborative communication style to the delivery of high-level negotiations and engagement.
