Exciting opportunities for experienced and driven Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join our active and dynamic team.
• Salary Package: From $115,787 to $136,995 (Level B) or $141,376 to $162,584 (Level C) p.a., plus 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading
• Appointment Type: x2 Full-time, continuing positions
• Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagul Campus (North Ryde), Sydney Australia

THE ROLE

The Department of Applied Finance at Macquarie University Business School (MQBS) is seeking a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer (the equivalent of tenure-track Assistant Professors) to join our dynamic team of scholars. Candidates in any field of Finance or Financial Economics are invited to apply.

Your responsibilities will include producing research that is published in leading international refereed journals, designing and delivering innovative teaching methods that drive student success, and demonstrating a commitment to service and engagement within our communities.

The Department of Applied Finance is a research-oriented department offering undergraduate, master's, and PhD programs. Selection Criteria

  • A PhD (completed or near completion) in finance or economics;
  • A record of quality research publications in respected outlets
  • Engagement, or a plan for engagement, with the wider community in order to further enhance teaching and or research outcomes;
  • A record of high-quality teaching in finance or related business field;
  • An ability to develop new approaches to teaching in finance including online and digital approaches to the delivery of coursework programs;
  • Evidence of work as a team player in the delivery of administrative tasks related to teaching and research;
