Your Role

As a Lecturer in Radiation Therapy, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality teaching across core units of the Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiation Science (B-SCIMRS). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to innovative teaching and learning in radiation therapy and medical radiation science units.
  • Facilitating engaging workshops and assessments across six Clinical Radiation Therapy units.
  • Overseeing VERT and RT positioning laboratories within the four Radiation Therapy Practice units.
  • Ensuring exceptional student experiences and quality education during clinical placements.

Who We Are Looking For
  • A passionate educator with registration as a radiation therapist with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA).
  • A professional possessing substantial disciplinary knowledge and expert practical skills in radiation therapy.
  • An individual with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
  • Experience as a clinical teacher or educator is highly desirable, as is a postgraduate degree.

The Curtin Medical School (CMS) includes the disciplines of Medicine, Medical Radiation Science, Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacy, and Biomedical Science.
