Your Role
As a Lecturer in Radiation Therapy, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality teaching across core units of the Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiation Science (B-SCIMRS). Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to innovative teaching and learning in radiation therapy and medical radiation science units.
- Facilitating engaging workshops and assessments across six Clinical Radiation Therapy units.
- Overseeing VERT and RT positioning laboratories within the four Radiation Therapy Practice units.
- Ensuring exceptional student experiences and quality education during clinical placements.
- Contribute to the academic rigour and practical relevance of our radiation therapy program.
- Influence and shape the clinical and professional skills of our students.
- Enhance the linkage between academic learning and real-world clinical application.
- A passionate educator with registration as a radiation therapist with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA).
- A professional possessing substantial disciplinary knowledge and expert practical skills in radiation therapy.
- An individual with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
- Experience as a clinical teacher or educator is highly desirable, as is a postgraduate degree.
