(Level B) $107,276 to $126,6894 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term, full time position available for 2 years.

This is a Teaching and Research focused role in any area of psychological science.

The School is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic academic to contribute to the development of its teaching methods and offerings. The School also wishes to strengthen its research performance and capacity and is especially keen to continue to evolve in translational, interdisciplinary and industry related research, to attract funding and improve impact.

The School of Psychology offers students a range of accredited pathways, both on campus and online, to becoming a psychologist.  At postgraduate level, the School is unique in South Australia in offering three professional Master programs leading to registration as a Psychologist (Clinical, Health and Organisational and Human Factors).

To be successful you will need: 

  • Doctoral qualification in a core area of psychological science.
  • A record of peer-reviewed publications at national and international level.
  • Strong research interests and outputs with demonstrated ability for cross-disciplinary research and collaboration.
  • Experience with supervising research students
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and coordination at a tertiary level, including preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, and workshops; as well as marking and assessment activities.
  • Experience in the development of innovative teaching methods and curriculum design and delivery, including in time-intensive teaching environments.
