Through your research, you will contribute to evidence-based practices and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

    You will:

    • contribute to implementing and delivering innovative and contemporary nursing programs;
    • develop and maintain key health partnerships to support and grow our work integrated learning footprint; and
    • the development of your research portfolio will complement the School’s research agenda addressing contemporary health priorities.

    About you:

Your expertise will serve as a source of inspiration, pushing learners to surpass their limits to achieve academic and professional excellence. You possess strong subject matter expertise, pedagogical expertise, excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching and learning, a student-centered approach and a commitment to innovative and engaging teaching methods.

    To be successful you will possess:

    • Completion or near-completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing
    • Registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
    • Effectiveness as a teacher, which is evidenced by student feedback, peer review and/or student outcomes
    • The capacity to conceive, develop and deliver higher education curricula and contribute to relevant areas of teaching
    • Evidence of research experience, including refereed publications; participation in research teams; co-supervision of candidates for honours and higher degrees by research.
