About the role

As Learning and Teaching Coordinator, you will maintain and develop administrative systems, processes and practices with a view to continually improving the provision of support to the teaching staff of the school. 

You will undertake a number of concurrent tasks, demonstrating excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills and work collaboratively with professional and academic colleagues to coordinate the planning, delivery and review of administrative processes to support the L&T activity within the school.

The role will report to the Senior Manager, School Operations and work closely with the Deputy Dean Teaching and Learning and the academic staff of the school.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level administrative support.

  • Ability to work independently and to use initiative to take responsibility for following through enquiries, correspondence, and activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, organise own work and others to meet deadlines and work efficiently and accurately in a busy and complex environment with large volumes of activity

  • High-level computer literacy including word processing; presentation software; email, internet and SharePoint and electronic document management databases.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision for completing administrative tasks.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to work co-operatively as a member of a team and ability to effectively communicate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds at all levels of an organisation.

  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and diplomacy with an outcome focused approach.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking ability and flexibility to adapt work practices and models according to need.
