(HEO5) $77,409 - $86,072 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation.

The Learning and Development Officer provides high quality administration, coordination, and customer service support within our Organisational Performance team, with a specific focus on processes that elevate staff learning, engagement and performance across the University. The successful applicant will be known for attention to detail, a wiz in Excel and experience with learning management systems. 

To be successful you will need: 

  • Demonstrated experience in providing learning management system administrative support (ideally PeopleSoft and/or Canvas).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in a succinct, professional, and responsive manner
  • To enjoy work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to promote successful learning outcomes.
  • Experience contributing to L&D projects and/or process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines and applying effective problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the use of HR systems and software applications, including competency across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Sharepoint etc).
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations>

Desirable:

  • Experience with instructional design software (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate etc.)
  • Knowledge of the Australian Higher Education Sector but not essential.

Qualification/s:

  • Completion of a diploma level HR qualification with relevant work-related experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
