Overview
Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a large, multi-campus university serving communities nationally and internationally. Within ECU, Digital and Campus Services provide an organisation-wide service that is characterised by its responsiveness and customer-orientated approach. Digital and Campus Services bring together and optimises the digital and physical environments for students and staff; supporting their teaching, learning, research and administrative needs.

The Digital Governance, Risk, Security and Operations team support the development, enforcement and maintenance of information security and privacy programs through policy development, incident response and reporting, vulnerability management and overall risk management and assurance efforts. Within the business unit's portfolio, there is exposure to upcoming activities related to NIST and Zero Trust capabilities.

The Information Security, Risk and Governance team is responsible for the delivery of information security controls, including risk management, governance, monitoring, managing, reporting, accreditation, and compliance for Digital and Campus Services. The team is now looking for two Information Security Analysts who will be responsible governance, risk and compliance activities, which includes:

  • Project risk analysis, 
  • Risk assessment 
  • Solution architecture risk due diligence,
  • Supporting functions with the enterprise risk platform
  • Governance and support of the ECU Security Framework
