Overview
The International Portfolio is responsible for leading the University’s international growth, engagement and the establishment of new international education and commercial enterprises. It manages the University’s principal international partnerships, and it develops and supports international relationships that: enhance the University’s global reputation; grow international student participation and income; deliver high quality transnational education programs; attract students to the University through international partnerships and pathways; secure access to new resources for research and research students; and enables student and staff mobility for collaboration with international partners. 

International Business Operations (IBO) is seeking candidates with experience in international compliance, risk, or quality assurance for the position of International Partner Quality and Compliance Adviser.

Working with limited direction, this position supports IBO to ensure best practice education agent and partner compliance. The role will work collaboratively with the wider business unit and relevant ECU professional service areas to ensure adequate partner quality, risk and compliance controls are in place to support sustainable international growth activities of the university.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated understanding of Australian international education legislative framework (ESOS Act, National Code, DOHA, Genuine Student Test) and the impact on quality and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, identifying emerging trends and reporting.
  • Prior experience using business intelligence and customer relationship products such as Excel, Tableau, PowerBI or Salesforce to manage information or uncover insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to exercise judgement and initiative in high pressure environments.
  • Extensive administrative experience in a quality assurance/compliance/risk management related role, and an understanding of systems and procedures such as the ability to design, review and improve systems and processes. 

Desirable
  • Previous experience in education agent compliance.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $88,973 to $95,993pa (HEW 6) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
