Fixed term, full time position available for 12 months with a possibility to extend.

A postdoctoral research fellow position (Level A or B depending on the applicant’s track record and capability) is available to work with Dr Yannan Yang, who is establishing his Biomaterials and Immune Engineering Laboratory in the South Australian immunoGENomics Cancer Institute (SAiGENCI). The successful candidate will lead a project on biomaterials-assisted immunomodulation and tumour immunotherapy.

To be successful you will need: 

• A PhD in immunology, oncology, biomedicine or relevant fields. 
• Excellent publication record.
• Experience in conducting projects related to immune signalling or tumour immunotherapy (immune checkpoint inhibitor, CAR-T, CAR-NK, etc.)
• Experience in cell culture and animal works, and skills in performing flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, western-blot etc.
• Capability to conduct research independently, including experimental design, execution, data analysis and manuscript writing.
