Expression of Interest - Academic Staff Agreement - Pool for Committee Membership

On behalf of the Academic Staff Agreement Implementation Committee, we are calling for Expressions of interest from employees covered by the Academic Staff Agreement (Agreement) who are interested in participating in the following committees:

  • Unsatisfactory Performance Review Committee (UPRC) (subclause 49.21 of the Agreement);
  • Misconduct Committee (MC) (subclause 50.28 of the Agreement).
  • Probation Review Committee (PRC) (subclause 13.12 of the Agreement).


From time to time, the University with issues of unsatisfactory performance and/or serious misconduct as well as unsatisfactory performance during a probationary period. The Agreement requires committees to be established to consider performance and conduct matters of academic staff.

When there are instances of unsatisfactory performance and/or allegations of serious misconduct, it may be necessary for a UPRC, MC or PRC to be formed.

The terms of reference of each of the committees is described within the Agreement . 

A pool of employees will be chosen by the Implementation Committee following this Expression of Interest process.

Training will be provided.
