An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Executive Support Officer to support the Advancement and Media & Corporate Relations branches at the University of Adelaide.

The Executive Support Officer is an integral role providing executive support to the Executive Directors and senior leaders of the Advancement and Media & Corporate Relations branches, as well as managing the reception area and providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

This position is a diverse role providing an opportunity for an administration professional to utilise their broad skillset including diary management, administrative and secretarial support as directed by the Executive Directors, as well as managing stationery and office consumables supplies.  

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and capability in the provision of administrative, secretariat and executive support services to senior managers, including preparation of Board/Committee papers.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a reception desk with outstanding communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, demonstrated problem solving capability and the ability to perform and work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to actively contribute to a collaborative, dynamic team and adapt to change in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of the full range of Microsoft Office software packages.
