Seeking an experienced, professional, and self-motivated Executive Officer, providing high-level executive support to the Chief Marketing Officer

The Marketing and Recruitment branch provides leadership in positioning the University of Adelaide within the higher education sector, both in Australia and globally; and contributes significantly towards the University’s financial targets through driving student revenue generation. The Marketing and Recruitment branch is responsible for strategic marketing, communications and recruitment activities that enhance the University of Adelaide’s brand, increase engagement and ensure business sustainability through generating student demand. The Branch delivers a suite of effective marketing and recruitment services and resources.

Working under limited direction with a degree of autonomy, the Executive Officer is responsible for managing the branch budget, providing advice to the leadership team on human resource and finance policies and procedures and coordinating the administration function of the branch. The role provides a high-level executive support and advice to the Chief Marketing Officer and leadership team

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience working in an executive support role and providing human resource, finance, health safety and wellbeing function.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with an understanding of financial processes and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with a large degree of autonomy and under broad direction to undertake a range of complex tasks with minimal direct supervision.
  • Experience in and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proven ability to engage and develop productive relationships quickly with key stakeholders.
