  • Starting Salary: $108,351 per annum plus 17% superannuation


About You

You are a self-starter, who is unafraid to take initiative in a complex, high paced environment. Leading with warmth and positivity, your exceptional communication skills will allow you to build meaningful connections across the Chancellery Unit as well as the wider University. You are highly organised, with the ability to absorb large amounts of information and distil it into clear, actionable insights and outcomes.

About the Role

As the Executive Officer, you will provide high level executive and project management services to the Chief People & Culture Officer (CPC) including strategic advice, developing reports and documentation, and coordinating communications, projects, and strategies to support the achievement of the CPCO’s strategic, governance and operational objectives. 

You will contribute to governance arrangements for the CPCO Portfolio including supporting the development of agreements, preparation of reports for committees, and overseeing statutory and legislative obligations as well as compliance with University policy. 

As a key professional staff member, you will work closely with Chancellery and PTC colleagues to ensure the effective management of the CPCO portfolio making a proactive and positive contribution to University Outcomes.

Chancellery is home to the offices of the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor & President, Enterprise Leadership Team, and their support staff.

The principal role of Chancellery is to support the efficient and effective transmission of information to and from the University’s senior management and senior governing bodies to individuals and groups within and beyond the University’s community.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Highly developed writing and editing skills developed across a range of media including reports, speeches, and presentations for a wide range of audiences.
  • Proven analytical and research skills to enable the effective synthesis of relevant information and data and the provision of insightful and innovative advice.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading and managing projects through to completion, on time and on budget.

Desirable
  • To be able to demonstrate experience relevant skills and experience to facilitate outcomes across multiple stakeholders through collaboration and influence.
