  • Base Salary (HEO6) $95,860 - $103,341 p.a. + 17% superannuation


About the opportunity

The University of Sydney Business School (USBS) holds a distinguished position among the top 1% of global business schools and is recognised as a leader in business and management education.

 

USBS is seeking to employ an experienced Executive Assistant to provide professional executive support to the Professor and Deputy Dean (Research) and the Faculty General Manager. Please note this position is required on campus four days per week.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • provide a broad range of high-level professional executive support

  • manage general day to day office operations and administration activities

  • develop and sustain an understanding of Deputy Dean (Research) and the Faculty General Manager’s projects, initiatives, and schedules to guide prioritisation of information and action requests

  • coordinate the gathering and collation of project data, information, and analysis to provide executive summaries, draft correspondences, and prepare reports and presentations

  • establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders and University staff

About you

  • possess strong executive/administrative support experience and expertise

  • working with senior management, ideally in a tertiary organisation, coupled with a general understanding of project methodologies

  • demonstrated exceptional time and workload management skills, prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and achieving desired outcomes

  • advanced computer skills, including proficiency Microsoft Office suite, especially with extensive diary and travel management, and PowerPoint experience

  • ability to work independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and using sound judgment to resolve daily work-related issues
