HE07 $95,017 - $106,270 per annum plus employer contribution of 17% superannuation.

Full time, continuing position available immediately.

The Student Experience branch provides services that deliver an excellent student experience, including administrative and support services to students as well as service to, and partnership with, academic staff in the development of a high-quality, engaging and relevant learning environment.

Learning Enhancement and Innovation (LEI) facilitate, collaborate, design and create engaging and flexible student-centric blended and online learning experiences.  Working under limited direction, in this exciting role you will explore educational technologies to support strategic directions, liaise with vendors, staff and students about educational technology pilots, scale-up existing technologies, and investigate potential technical solutions for teaching and learning scenarios.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in educational technology evaluation, including needs analysis, conducting feasibility studies, business case development, test planning and evaluation.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills, including the ability to develop reports, briefings and presentations to a variety of audiences and the ability to manage changing priorities and initiate independent action.
  • Experience in stakeholder and vendor engagement, relationship management, and facilitation.
  • Current knowledge of IT trends relevant to innovation within Higher Education
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proven proficiency in various education technologies with ability to quickly learn new technologies and develop education technology solutions aligned with strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations. 

Desirable:

  • Detailed knowledge and experience with Canvas Learning Management System
  • Current working knowledge of user experience design
